Efficient hot water for compact spaces
AQUAPURA MONOBLOC PRO WALL is a wall-mounted aerothermal heat pump designed specifically for domestic hot-water production.
Its compact form allows it to fit inside a standard 60 × 60 cm cabinet, making it an excellent solution for apartments, utility rooms and homes where available floor space is limited.
The unit is available with a choice of 120 or 160 litre storage capacity and can produce hot water at temperatures of up to 65°C in heat-pump mode.
Wall-mounted, all-in-one design
AQUAPURA MONOBLOC PRO WALL combines the heat pump and hot-water cylinder within one compact appliance.
Mounting the unit on the wall preserves valuable floor space and gives installers greater flexibility when planning kitchens, utility rooms and compact plant areas.
Key advantages include:
- Wall-mounted installation
- 120 and 160 litre models
- Diameter of approximately 530 mm
- Compatible with a 60 × 60 cm cabinet
- Integrated heat-pump components
- Integrated hot-water storage
- Quiet operation
- Simple installation
- Modern, discreet appearance
Hot water up to 65°C
The latest-generation heat-pump system can produce domestic hot water at up to 65°C in normal heating mode.
The higher operating temperature is supported by the thermodynamic performance of natural R290 refrigerant. This allows the system to meet everyday household hot-water demand efficiently while reducing reliance on direct electrical resistance heating.
Actual operating efficiency will depend on the incoming air temperature, selected water temperature, installation and household usage pattern.
Natural R290 refrigerant
AQUAPURA MONOBLOC PRO WALL uses R290, a natural propane-based refrigerant with a Global Warming Potential of just 3.
Its very low GWP means that R290 has substantially less climate impact than many conventional refrigerants used in comparable heat-pump systems.
R290 also provides excellent thermodynamic performance, helping the heat pump achieve higher water temperatures efficiently.
Benefits include:
- Global Warming Potential of 3
- Reduced refrigerant-related environmental impact
- Strong thermodynamic performance
- Efficient high-temperature operation
- Support for water temperatures up to 65°C
Because R290 is a flammable refrigerant, installation and servicing must be completed by appropriately trained professionals in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
Stainless-steel hot-water cylinder
The storage cylinder is available in Stainless Steel AISI 444 or Duplex 2205.
Both materials provide excellent resistance to corrosion and are intended to support long-term reliability. The stainless-steel construction removes the need for a conventional sacrificial anode, reducing routine maintenance requirements.
Cylinder advantages include:
- Stainless Steel AISI 444 or Duplex 2205
- Strong corrosion resistance
- No sacrificial anode required
- Reduced maintenance
- Long service life
- Hygienic domestic hot-water storage
Integrated Wi-Fi control
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows the heat pump to be monitored and managed remotely through a compatible application.
This gives users convenient access to everyday functions without needing to interact directly with the appliance.
Available controls may include:
- Water-temperature adjustment
- Operating-mode selection
- Time scheduling
- System status
- Consumption information
- Holiday or absence settings
- Anti-legionella management
Available app functions may depend on the installed software and system configuration.
Touchscreen controller
A user-friendly touchscreen controller is integrated into the front of the unit.
The display provides convenient access to temperatures, schedules, operating modes and system information. Its front-facing position makes the controls easy to reach even when the appliance is installed inside a cabinet.
Modbus connectivity
Integrated Modbus support allows AQUAPURA MONOBLOC PRO WALL to communicate with compatible building-management or home-automation systems.
This can enable coordinated control, remote monitoring or integration with a wider energy-management strategy.
Final integration will depend on the capabilities of the external control system and should be completed by a suitably qualified professional.
Designed for easy maintenance
The top cover uses a two-piece design that provides front access to the thermodynamic unit.
This allows important internal components to be reached without first disconnecting or removing the air ducts, making routine servicing quicker and more practical.
Maintenance-focused features include:
- Front access to the thermodynamic components
- Two-piece removable top cover
- No need to remove ducting for normal access
- Integrated display position
- Robust polymer cover construction
- Simplified service procedure
Flexible air-duct connections
The appliance supports two air-duct connection diameters:
- 125 mm
- 150 mm
This gives installers flexibility when designing the intake and exhaust air routes.
Correct duct sizing, routing and insulation are important to ensure suitable airflow, minimise noise and prevent condensation. The complete duct installation should follow the manufacturer’s technical guidance.
Quiet operation
AQUAPURA MONOBLOC PRO WALL is designed for quiet domestic operation.
Correct installation remains important. Air ducts, wall fixings and nearby surfaces should be planned to prevent vibration or airflow noise being transferred into occupied rooms.
How aerothermal water heating works
The heat pump draws thermal energy from the surrounding or ducted air.
A refrigerant absorbs this low-temperature heat and carries it to the compressor. Compression increases the refrigerant’s pressure and temperature before the captured energy is transferred into the stored water.
After releasing its heat, the refrigerant passes through an expansion device and returns to a lower temperature and pressure. The cycle then repeats.
Only a proportion of the delivered heat is supplied as direct electrical energy. The remainder is collected from the air, enabling considerably more efficient water heating than conventional direct-electric systems.
Suitable for apartments and smaller homes
The combination of a compact diameter, wall-mounted format and two practical storage capacities makes the system particularly well suited to:
- Apartments
- Smaller houses
- Utility rooms
- Kitchen cabinets
- Compact plant cupboards
- New-build properties
- Renovation projects
- Homes replacing direct-electric water heaters
The appropriate cylinder size should be selected according to household occupancy, bathing habits and expected peak demand.
Professional specification and installation
Before selecting the system, a professional assessment should consider:
- Daily hot-water demand
- Required storage capacity
- Wall strength and mounting position
- Air supply and discharge route
- Duct dimensions
- Condensate drainage
- Electrical supply
- Service clearances
- Ventilation and R290 safety requirements
- Wi-Fi or Modbus integration
Correct sizing and installation will help ensure efficient operation, reliable hot-water availability and straightforward future maintenance..
